g15 v2 dimension

ya, how long is this keyboard quick and simple i prefer units in centimetres if possible.. i've tried googling it but cant find it

this is just a guess-tamite, but a buddy of mine had the rev1 and the rev 2 gets rid of 2 collums of g-keys. so my ballpark answer would be about 1-1/2" to 2" shorter, roughly 15 to 20 cm. but thats just a guess. imho, rev 1 was leaps and bounds better. 18 g-keys, the lcd screen moved (for when you wanna get the gangsta lean on in the compy chair), and the blue backlight looks alot cleaner than that ugly color orange (no offense gamespot.... it looks good on you). but thats all just my opinion. there a company on e-bay selling rev 1's for about $100 (after s&h).

Edit: BTW i just talked to my buddy with the rev 1 about the g15 and he said the black paint wears away somewhat quickly on the keys, so its a good idea to coat the tops of them with polyurethene or clear nailpolish. otherwise your keyboard will end up looking like a big blue (or orange) nightlight

i_Drink_monster was on the right track though, the newer g15 is indeed 2 inches shorter (horizontally).

It's precise dimensions are 19.5" X 10.5".
