Do anyone have Gainward GTS250 1024MB? Link: http://www.gainward.com/main/vgapro.php?id=117

If so, how good is it for game such as Crysis, World of Warcraft, Dragon Age:Origins and Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare 2?

I'm about to make a purchase for my new computer and I need to know if this card is any good at all. I am using a Sapphire Radeon 3850 256 MB card and it is pretty bad for mainstream games.

If you guys have any other suggestions for a better card, please fill me in.

Thanks a lot. :-D

It should pretty much max every game you mentioned exlcuding crysis which it should do fine with with everthing set to high/gamer... lets put it this way the GTS250 is 35-40% better than my old 8800GTS 320MB which runs DAO and MW2 at the highest settings with no AA with out an issue at 1280x1024. The cards performance lies between the HD4850 and the HD4870 so its pretty good for gaming at 1680-1050 or lower.

In the UK yes but if hes from the US the difference is around $50-80. Come to think of it how much is it costing you TC?

The card is around 177 USD (though I am from Norway).
And speaking of 4870. there's a XFX HD 4870 512MB GDDR5 for the same price (177 USD), though it had many negative comments.

You can check it here, though it is Norwegian. xD

- XFX Radeon HD 4870 512MB GDDR5

http://www.komplett.no/k/ki.aspx?sku=486213 - Gainward GeForce GTS 250 1GB PhysX CUDA

So I believe the Gainward was a better deal. Now I can't wait for it :-D
