And I mean realisic, not crash bandicoot or sonic the hedgehog. Something along the lines of the free game WolfQuest, except actually finished/more stuff - a full game. It doesn't have to be a life simulation, but still realistic. Unfortunately most games that involve animals are for children..

Does anyone know of any games like this? Preferably fairly good graphics, and not too old. I found a few but they were from the 90s.

The closest I can think of is something like the amazing Bad Mojo. You play the game as a cockroach. Although I suppose you couldn't call that realistic whatsoever. :P

As someone who has been called a cockroach I can speak for the games high levels of verisimilitude! I'd also like to add to these lists King Kong (I don't recommend you play the game but you can play as a monkey) and Giant: Citizen Kabuto you can play as some giant dude.

In Dragon Age you can turn into a spider!

one CANNOT ignore ookami.. now theres a game! however yeah regretablly the only two games id recommend to you would be

project echo: the dolphin

and the possible inclusion of pikmin

ookami is a greta game though all the same.. think legend of zelda meets.. chinese caligraphy.. and toss in a better story.

oh its been an age since i played that. still have it though. i shouldnt have enjoyed it (a wrestler scorpion?) but i did.....i did :). its not really realistic TC..actually its not realistic at all. but one thing it does do well is show the world through a small creatures eyes. well for a scorpion because tarantulas, despite having 8 eyes, are practically blind and hunt their prey by sensing vibrations they make though their legs. there also ambushers..they dont actively go out and hunt. unlike some other spiders who are canabalistic psychos....but thats a whole different story and im ranting.

Thanks for the suggestions! I kind of forgot I made this topic.

I remember seeing Bloodmoon before, but I'm not gonna buy a game and expansion just for the expansion. Plus I'm getting Elder scrolls IV soon.

Judging on the review, I'd say no to Jaws.

Deadly creatures looks pretty fun, and I have a wii.. I might get it.

Bad Mojo looks very odd, probably not gonna get it but I still like odd things.

Echo isn't for pc(I think?), I have spore, but I've heard of Okami and that does look good.

Thanks again, if you have anymore feel free to post them. :)

If you're feeling nostalgic, I do remember a game called Lion where you were, ehm, a lion
Wasn't a good game if I remember, but you do get to play as aforementioned lion.

If you're not into playing as a lion, I fear there is also wolf verion of the same game.

They have an Ecco game on Steam. It's in the Sega Genesis collection.
