That reminds me- Isn't Quantum Dream currently working on a PS3 exclusive? I liked Indigo Prophecy, too, and I hope that their next game is an evolution along that line.Mikaivo
I think its called heavy rain, supposed to be out some time next year.
Indigo Prophecy is quite awesome. It was unique in the way it played the game.
As for other games, the only ones I can think of is the Myst games, but they're pretty old. I seem to only find them through Gametap nowadays.
The genre is "Adventure" games. You could try Siberia or Siberia II for PS2 or Xbox. You could also play the game that came before Dreamfall, which many consider to be much better, and has supposedly one of the better stories in all of video games. It's called The Longest Journey and it's for the PC.Korubi
Maybe the genre is adventure but they are not like IF and Dreamfall, those games are really unique and i already played The longest journey too!!!!

The official press release said that it would be for all next-gen consoles (and the PC, but not the Wii, apparently). That was a while ago, but I don't think that they ever announced that it was exclusive.
Anyway, hmm..I'm currently playing through Broken Sword III: The Sleeping Dragon, and it has very similar gameplay to Indigo Prophecy and Dreamfall (that sort of dumbed-down adventure game feeling :P). I guess that there are plenty of games like it, but I usually prefer the more traditional point'n'click adventure games.
Oh, Grim Fandango is also vaguely similar (only without the combat)...and Full Throttle is another point'n'click adventure with combat.
