My computer keeps messing up when I play a game, even on the lowest quality.

It always does that. I can't even get past the character creation in Fallout. It does he same thing for Oblivion and Bioshock too. Does anyone know what this is?

It looks like artifacting, your graphics card is overheating. What are your Specs for your Pc? But the simple thing to do is turn up your graphic card's fan speed, and check how dusty your pc is and to see if the gpu fan is even working.

Also post your Gpu temps too idle and right after playing a game. Also it could be a driver thing too but it wouldnt hurt getting the lastest driers for your card.

But I only get maybe 5 minutes of play time. Can it overheat that fast? It's not that dusty inside. How do I change the fan speed? And I think I have the newest drivers. And how do I find my specs for my PC? -_-;

Yep certainly looks like something is overheating, your graphics card most likely.

Without a doubt, it can overheat VERY quickly. And to get your PC specs download CPU-Z

Thank you for all your help, but I think I found the problem. I have a 300W PSU and my graphics card requires at least 400 in order to work properly. I'm never letting the guy selling me the computer to build it for me again.

Ya your issue was overheating because it wasnt getting enough power it has work 2x harder to do what it needs to do. Heres a PSU for you, its more than enough to run your pc and you will have power to spare for upgrades. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371007 -Antec earthwatts EA500 500W

Can you post your PC specs and PC temperature? I have highend cards with a quality 450w PSU. So it's either overheating or your powersupply isn't efficient enough.

I know it's good. He talked to his friend, who has the same one that we're looking at, and he said it's perfect.
