Game to beat BF 2142

Is there any game that is better than battlefield out or soon to come out on pc?

I know some of you think the battlefield series suck or has too many problems but even with all the problems it has I have not found a game that beats its overall. Sure there are games with better graphics or better game play or more stable servers but they never seem to combine more than a few things together.

Battlefield has good graphics, good game play, loads of servers, and loads of players on servers.

is there a game that has better graphics (not that important to me), better game play with more options and weapon customization, is popular enough so you are not playing against the same people each time, has 60 or more players per server(16 players never seems enough to be very strategic), has large maps and vehicles.

i loved BF2142! especially knife only servers! i was one of the best! in the world!

but i quited, because there was toomany bugs, crash was just another day of BF2142.....

now i play crysis (well, obvioulsy it has better graphics... if you got the mucles), it doesn't have 64Player maps, only goes up to 32. but it's fantastic! it completly beats BF2142(except a few BUGs and extremly easy unlimited ammo hack, i think they'll be fixed soon). try it out man! try the MP demo first maybe!

i heard that crysis' mp is the only thing that sucks about the game

i wouldnt know though, im still waiting on the parts to build my new rig

By the way, more players doesn'tmeans more strategic.I find that for all the "epicness" that the large number of players gives in BF, it's mostly a chaotic mess. It was fun/novel in BF1942, revitalized a bit in BF2, buthopefully they have more up their sleeve for future iterations.Unless they want theUT3 backlash that Epic is seeing.

I also like Battlefield games but there isn't a single game I can recommend that comes close to it. Crysis MP isn't anything like Battlefield.I think it's tacky and wasn't well thought out. It needs much more work.

I also found ETQW boring. Looks like you will have to wait for Battelfield 3.

i have been thinking about cod4. looks good and from what I've seen ill be able to run it alright.

are there actually any details on bf3 or is it just rumorware

ut games seem to disorganised and chaotic with very little or no team work apart from your team all going for the same objective.

maybe ill just stick with bf2142. i have 2 copies and 2 computer so my brother can play with me but if i get cod or any other new games they will only work on 1 computer till i either upgrade or finish building my new rig.

How about Team Fortress 2. Class-based like the BF series. Maybe CS:S?
