I would not play either of those (Carbon and Pro Street). Get Porsche 2000 instead.

Audiosurf, cheap, fun, addictive and will last a long time.

Maybe try GTR2 if you want a good racing game. I have never played it but people speak highly of it. Might be a little too realistic though if you like NFS series.

How do you get Porsche to work in XP? I'm still having trouble to get it working.

Umm, don't know, have not played it in a while. Have you tried to run it in compatibility mode for older versions of Windows? Or googled for a fix?

Are you guys talking about NFS: Porsche Unleashed? I ws just wondering becuase I have been able to get it to run in both XP and Vista. Vista required compatibility mode, run as administrator fixes. Not sure if that helps or not.

I would pitch maybe Race 07 - the WTCC Game, and maybe DiRT (obviously a different type of racing game, but a good RG nontheless). I saw GTR2 available at retail for about $19.99 these days.

You could go back a few years and pick some of the old EA Sports Formula One sims, which I still play. Last suggestion, and I'll need some help on this one, does NFS have a healthy mod communicty? I know they did back in the day. Maybe with some healthy, free Mods, the OP cold wring some additional life out of NFS:MW. Ok, one more, if casual racing is the order of the day...maybe something from the Trackmania series?
