I actually find Super Meat Boy to be easier using keyboard, I just use my wireless 360 controller for the PC when I play racing games like NFS Hot Pursuit for example.

sports games and other games where you need to hold multiple buttons at the same time, only need to access a couple buttons (no hotkeys needed) and need to move in specific diagonals (30 degrees, 55 degrees) or need pressure sensitive input.

Just about any "Game for Windows" multiplatform game has native support for the 360 gamepad and most of the ones I've played just seem more natural to play that way. At least it seems best to me, though it also helps that I use the same TV (as my monitor) and speakers for several consoles. PC-exclusives, FPS, RTS, stuff like that are usually best with keyboard/mouse. Though, GTA IV is the only one where I prefer the 360 pad the whole time rather than using keyboard/mouse for the on-foot sections.

I tried to play mlb 2k10 without a controller... it was a waste of time. I'm not even going to bother playing it until I get a controller. Of course, it doesn't help that they didn't even bother putting some controls in for the keyboard.

lol ah. What about Prince of Persia and games like that? Like all Platformers? Better with a controller? Also - I think a controller is best for Racing cuz of the pressure sensitivity on the triggers of say - the 360 controller. I cant race without that pressure sensitivity. With other controllers pressing the gas button always means flooring it.

Bioshock, sensitivity for mouse is bad it really show the game is made for console. With 360 controller the game plays very nice.

Dead space is better with 360pad aswell.

Out of that list I only played Batman AA and Dirt 2

Batman AA was easy for me with a mouse and keyboard, Dirt 2 was near impossible; since I dont own a usb controller I have pretty much stopped playing the game

I found it easier to use a controller for The Last Remnant and Prototype.

I have to agree. It felt great. None of those games really NEED a controller. When I get my 360 controller I will probably use it for racing though.

Racing games like Dirt 2 are meant for a controller or wheel. Battlestations Pacific needs to be played with a controller. Getting in a damn plane with a keyboard and mouse is like trying to shave with a freaken rock. It just doesn't work.

Games like DMC4 and Assassin's Creed need a controller too. Super Street Figher 4 also need a controller or some sort of arcade stick.

Super Meat Boy requires a controller. The game even tells you to get a damn controller.

Only games I've found easier with a controller over KB/M is Super Meat Boy and DMC4. DMC4 just plays like **** with a keyboard and it's easier to control Meat Boy with my PS3 controller. Everything else I'll stick to KB/M

Are games like:

GTA4 M&K

Batman AAM&K

Mafia 2M&K

Just Cause 2M&K

Super Meat Boy Gamepad

Dirt 2 Gamepad

Best played with a controller?

Gamesterpheonix

That's my opinion at least. I tried Batman with controller but ended up going back to mouse and keyboard because its more comfortable for me.

for me, everything with a 360 controller except GTA4, for some reason, that game feels more at home with a MS+KB.

DIRT 2 and Super Meat Boy I'd say definitely yes.

The rest are entirely down to preference, but I've tried them all with a gamepad and found they were surprisingly well suited for it. But then I've been using controllers since 1992, so...

I personally don't have a need for a controller. However I will look at getting a wheel in the future.

Yeah, I remember in some of the driving missions in San Andreas I ended up using my 360 controller because I found it easier. But overall I stick to mouse and keyboard when playing my PC games.
