I only have use of one hand and so can only use either mouse or keyboard at one moment. I don't like "automatic combat" MMO's but have enjoyed Spiral Knights. I'd like something with a good online community.

The Deponia series are really good point and click games. 1 hand is all you need. Single player only though.

what happened to your other hand? I don't think there are any games for one handed gamers though.

Fear Combat or any FPS.

How to:

  • right click is for forward.
  • left click is for shoot
  • middle mouse button is for back option menu escape
  • scroll middle mouse for changing weapons
  • if you've got thumb buttons aka gaming mouse use those for granade or use etc.

I recommend buying a good mouse with lots of buttons, well not too much; you can get either Roccat Kone XTD (i'm currently using it), Razer Naga or Razer Naga Hex

My guide may sound crazy but I owned people and was 1st on servers with that type of gaming for a while coz my keyboard got broken.

Oh, I forgot: I have a mouse with 11 extra buttons. I've tried FPS's and other shooters but the controls were clunky on it. I know RTS's and stuff might work, but again, I want a good, social community.

I'll second this. Your mouse with 11 extra buttons would be more than enough to handle all commands you would actually need to use quickly. Plus it's one of the best iso-ARPGs available, with tons of people playing online, and it's totally free to play, but not the least bit pay to win.

Just buy Razer Naga, and get used to it, you will play 95 % of games without other hand, without any problem.

There are tons of games on pc that can be played using only a mouse so would work just fine with just one hand like Titan Quest,Starcraft 2, and Legend of Grimrock.

You can always get a console and play those games where body movements control the game. Good for your health too.

Dunno if it's worth a 100$ but it's unique and will sure help him out.

This one looks better since it give you two buttons per foot that you can place further apart.
