www.knightonlineworld.com doesn't require much you can run that game its an mmo and its free.

Maybe an old Battefield game. Cod 2 I think you can run as well.

Try the original Half-Life games, they're farily old FPSers but are always worth a play.

All games 2002 and older. I played Call of Duty, KotOR,and Morrowind on a 512 mb machine with an integrated chip, so those games should work as well.

I had the same problem, except my computer was worse. It was a laptop and it had 256 MB, 1.3 GHz processor, and some crappy Intel graphics card. Here are the games that I played that were pretty fun:

Deus Ex (fps and rpg, free on gametap, you might want to look at the other free games on gametap)

Serious Sam First Encounter (very very fun, but really short as well, highly recommend though)

Call of Duty (the first one)

Battlefield 1942

Try and download the World of Warcraft trial and see if you can play it... i don't think WoW takes that good of a computer to run.

not to run, but to run it decently it takes more than a low end pc. closer to a higher end to run it at max at a decent resolution though... but to actually run the game, he should be able too... might be slow as hell though

That's a great game, but it doesn't fit either mmo or fps.

I'd recommend the original Half Life, and for the MMO part I'd suggest SWG, but I heard it's kinda bad since some update a few years ago.

Tribes 1 and Tribes 2. Both excellent online FPS that are completely FREE. (they were made freeware)

Try Gametap; they have quite a bit to offer to those with very modest machines.

The latest patch has made WoW running in lower PC spec much much better.
