Well I purchased my first game the uses this ( fallout 3) and i am not getting acheivments and i cant find the interface, is their some sort of button i push? when i press LIVE in the main menu nothing happens
When you start up fallout, on the main menu screen hit the home button on your keyboard. Make an account, I think you can either do it from the game or it will minimize the game, take you to the xbox live website, where you will make an account. Once you finish that it will ask you to enter your Live Access key thats in the fallout 3 box.

You have to start a new game up after you press the LIVE button on the fallout4 main menu. Log into your account so your online then back out, then start a game and youll get the achievments. I didnt realize it was there for that, so i just started a new game and started to get the achievments added to me xboxlive account.
Yeah same problem on pc, i did get live to work once but i dont think i did anything other than restart the computer, which wont work anymore any way. Its got nothing to do with entering the code, thats a stage that will come later.
You need to run the game as an admin, just right click the shortcut and press run as admin or go to properties and change it so it always runs as admin whenever you click the shortcut. You'll need to start the game from scratch to get the acheivments you missed though
