I am really looking for a good game, I play really any game except sports. i'm looking for a game with good replayability and works on a mediocre system because mine is not so strong. I just got off of WoW and am playing FPS and RTS right now so it's quite open

I'd love to help you, however, I need your system specs because "mediocre" means one thing for one person, and another thing for another person.

I second about Baldur's Gate series. Even if these games are old, they are totally amazing...if you like the role-playing games of course. Go ahead with those...you won't be disapointed

Well, if you have even the slightest interest in space adventure games, there's no excuse not to play this. I'd throw in Battlefield 2 if it weren't for your graphics card, or Armed Assault if you want something far more realistic. You'll probably have to settle for Battlefield 1942 or Operation Flashpoint until you make the upgrade. Unreal Tournament 2004 is mostly CPU-dependent, as are most UnrealEngine2 games, and your A64 3200+ should be more than enough for a constant 60 FPS. Go for it-it's a solid game though everyone seems to have moved on to more graphically enticing games, and there's tons of mods for you to enjoy. While not exactly FPSs per se, both MDK and its sequel are a blast to play. I'm not sure how the first game will work on modern systems, but MDK2 shouldn't give you any problems. Then there's the Magic Carpet games, which are fairly unique. You fly around as a wizard on a magic carpet, pretty much possessing mana, killing things to get said mana, and hoarding it all in your castle. You'll often compete with other wizards, trying to kill them and destroy their castles while protecting your own castle-note that castles act as respawn points for wizards, so they won't go away until the castle's gone and you kill them before they make another one. Both games are meant for DOS, so DOSBox might be necessary. On the RPG front, Fallout goes without saying. Can't comment on Baldur's Gate, as even though I own the sequel with expansion(TWO copies of BG2, in fact-one's a Collector's Edition, and the other is the Collection re-release), I'm not playing it until I beat the original + TotSC, which I don't have. Also can't comment on Planescape: Torment, another popular RPG from that timeframe. If you want more FPS with your RPG, there's always TESIII: Morrowind, which should run fine on your system. You could also try Daggerfall, but that's a DOS game that doesn't quite run right on PCs with fast CPUs(which can be slowed down massively by way of DOSBox). Finally, for those games that just plain don't fit in any category, pick up Rocket Jockey. You're basically on a rocket bike with grappling cables, either racing through a track of pylons, swinging balls into random goals for points, or tormenting other jockeys by ramming them, dragging them, tying them to stuff, flinging bombs into them, etc. There's a special patch which allows for installation of the game on 2000 and XP, and it runs fine on my XP-based system with the exception that I can't get the excellent soundtrack to play anymore. That's enough games for one post.

Your system is not bad, except for the onboard graphics, which means you have to look to very old games. I would stick to 2-d games like starcraft and diablo 2, until you upgrade your graphics.

I would blow off the game entirely and save up for a AGP or PCIexress graphics card, assuming you have a slot. You can get a card that will blow your graphics away, literally, for about 60-70 bux, about the price of a game or two. check around places like newegg and tigerdirect for lowest prices.
