- Dragon Age : Origins

- Risen

Dragon Age is nothing like Fable. Your best bet would be Risen or the Gothic Series but even still, Fable is very light on RPGs compared to those games. I wouldn't even bother with Witcher if you are looking for a Fable like game, because thats a heavy RPG to stomach if you are looking for a more adventure focused action heavy game like Fable. I think risen is probably the closest though.

You may also consider Divinity 2, ive heard thats a lot more linear and less Role Playing focused than its predecessor.

For me, Risen was the most Fable-like game... ;)

RPG elements on Fable are pratically non-existant, just like the Zelda series.

I recommend Outcast. The game is old, but much better than Fable.

It's hard to find a game with an atmosphere as unique as Fable, Dragon Age is your best bet.

Jade Empire definitelyRK-Mara

The voice of reason is, as usual, ignored in favour of whatever big-name/cult RPGs with no similarities to Fable people can remember.

Except for the setting, I find Jade Empire the closest thing to Fable I've played. And I somehow doubt the OP loved Fable for it's generic fantasy world, over its combat, choice system and pretty much everything else.

Indeed. The stupid world and the stupid... social interaction system (farts!) ruined Fable for me.

Hehe, no.Ulukai is riding a Twon-Ha. Outcast is a unique experience, the story and the small details are great and convincing. I really recommend playing this game, even if it's from 1999 and only supports very low resolutions.
