games like Prince of Persia?

assassins creed is made by the same people who made PoP so it will probably be pretty similar, but i don't know of any others

POP 2 onwards is siock man... im addicted to it...

dun have to look for other game that is like that, POP is already very good.. 

the closest to them would probably be the tomb raider games. anniversary was recently released and is supposed to be quite good (though a game pad is recommended). theres a demo on steam if u want to try it out. oh and TR: angel of darkness...thats crap. im not sure about the others.osan0

This has a similar "jumping" mechanic. Wasnt rated highly but i enjoyed the game

 definitely try riddick!! its got stealth, stabbing, shooting, hanging off ledges, enviormental puzzle solving, climbing ropes,poles,boxes,plus lots of real flashy high tech breathtaking visuals.

Oh, and Riddick is good but it doesnt have that elaborate combat system it sounds like the OP wants.

if you're talking about 3rd person action games emphasizing on melee combat, you would find more choices available among console games. eg. DMC series, God of War series, Blood Rayne series ( which came to pc as well ), etc.

Ya, I can see that.  I think if your wife came in as you jumped on a nazi and sucked his blood making "nnnnnnnh nnnnnh ya nyaaaa slurrrrrrp" noises she would have issues.

Its the heavy weapons guy from Team Fortress 2.  If you havent seen the video for that character, go watch it now its one of the funniest things Ive seen thats game-related...shows off the great facial animation tech theyre using too.

Great suggestions so far guys. Just to clear things up, im looking for games with the same acrobatic moves as the PoP seriespsp-freak

There really aren't any games similar to the new Prince of Persia series. Tomb Raider comes pretty close because of the platforming...but even that doesn't resemble the platforming in Prince of Persia, and the combat's entirely based on shooting.
