Games like Rise of Nations??(Real time)

Ive been playing RON for years but I have just realize that it is too old. Any ideas about newer games that are like advancing in ages and the talent tree and all that stuff??

star craft 2 is a great RTS along with Dawn of War or company of heros allthough it is a tab bit old 2006

Empire Earth is not complete trash. EE and EE2 are fine games. EE3 is complete trash.

Truth be told, Rise of Nations was kind of the last RTS of its kind that was any good.

I don't think there is anything like Rise of Nations these days. They basically took Civilization and made it into a RTS. I don't know any other games like that.
