I was wondering if there were any games (for PC) set in the 1940's or 1950's? It's just something about the era i like. I really liked LA Noire, so games maybe similar, but obviously dont have to be as good. Also if possible, the game could be set in either New York or Paris...or even London. I also enjoyed Prisoner of War, so any game at all of any genre in this time period will be right up my alley, so please any suggestions are well appreciated. Thanks.

fallout 3 and new vegas. Everything is like 40/50's, like in most post-nuclear settings.

Right... and what exactly post-nuclear settings have to do with New York, Paris and London (or something similar) of the 40s? Huh?

"XCOM" will be set in the '50s. Not out yet, but one to watch. Take care with the game's title, because "XCOM: Enemy Unknown" is also coming out soon, but that is a completely different game, set in modern day.

Any World War II shooter. I know it's obvious but they're the best set in that era, I think.

I can't remember if L.A. Noire is set in the 30s or 40s but you might want to check it out anyway.

There's quite a few adventure games set around that era. A few I've played, Adam's Adventure series, Lost Horizon, Back to the Future, and Post Mortem. There's also No Lives Forever games. Call of Chatulu. Clive Barkers Undying. Freedom Force.

Fallout New Vegas is NOT set in the 40's and 50's. The supposed apocalyptic war happened in 2080 something I think and the game is set in 2281 google tells me. Although the style is reminiscent of the 50s/60s.

That 40/50s style present in most post-nuclear settings is what i meant.

If you're referring to tellatale's back to the future (the only i know) takes place in 1931, don't wanna be picky but 30s don't have the same vibe that 40s/50s :P

For sayin another title, the great scape game :P

No...Fallout's style is like the 50s, because in Fallout's universe the cold war was never over, and the whole 50's culture was still going strong in 2077 that the bombs fell.
