Hello guys, could you suggest me a good game to play on the PC? I've recently gave up playing WoW because it was so god damn addicting and since I'm starting college I prefer to step away from that virtual world. However which games can I play that "never end" you know? I have League of Legends and I am now downloading Dota 2 but I don't think I'll like it since it's very close to what League of Legends offers. Is there anything else?

You can easily put a ton of hours into Borderlands 2. I put in about 70 in one character alone through 1 play through. Not counting true hunter mode, additional characters and DLC's.

Well ANY MMO I guess, as well as FPS Online (like Call of Duty). Also Plants vs Zombies.

Just keep playing WoW and learn to play in moderation...

Skyrim if you want an RPG - plenty of content and even more if you enjoy mods.

Counterstrike would be a good choice of fps. Quick to learn, impossible to truly master.

Sounds like you want to quit an mmo, to start playing mmo's.

If you find a "never ending" game, it's probably going to be as addicting as WoW. The problem is not really the game. It's that you find it hard to moderate your game time. I don't think another game will fix that. That's something you have to deal with, to conquer. I went through a time like that to where I was addicted to WoW. Player other games didn't help. I still spent just as much time playing games. I just had to get my priorities straight. Focus on school and work first, everything else second.

someone mentioned sim city thats a good one that can go on forever... but you will get bored of it eventually. And you shouldn't waste time on the new sim city, the only ones you should consider are Simcity for the snes, or Simcity 2000 or 3000, or Simcity 4. Civilization 5 is a good one also but the game kinda does end, but each time you play things can play out differently and have a different feel to them depending how you set the game up, what civs you play against and what size or type of world you choose... but its a game with some learning curve at first but its very easy and rewarding when you master it. after you win a game, you can choose to keep building your civilization up if you want but without goals it will get boring when you do win. probably the longest type of game is an mmo but its also the worst because of the time it sucks up. I've played many and my favourite so far has been TERA, and its free now so you can play it at your leisure and take as much time as you want and not worry about wasting money on monthly fees.

To be frank, I just don't like games that never end. It is extremely boring for me to keep playing a game while knowing that it will go on an on forever, with no end. I prefer to beat games and then move on to other games.

Terraria and minecraft are games you can just keep playing forever.

I also play Stronghold kingdoms on steam (Its free) and have like 650hrs on that and i'm still playing and never spent a single penny on it.

Elder Scrolls Arena, that game never ends...literally.
