games that will always have a place on your pc

as gamers,we see alot of games come and go.we play em,and more likley than not,end up uninstalling them to make space for the next cool game that comes along.but every once in awhile you get a game that you have so much fun with that you cant hit the uninstall button.

for me its unreal tournament.ive got all 3 versions of it on my pc and still play them alot.

so what game will always have a reserved spot on your hhd?

Diablo2, Guildwars errr.... hmmm Starcraft1, err Warcraft III, Baldurs gate 2, Jedi Knight : Jedi Academy, Star Wars : Knights of the old Republic, probably some moar!!!!

Battlefield 2 & 2142. i guess that's gonna change later this year. i guess i could just say that "the latest BF".

also X-Com still finds it's way to my PC pretty often.

I always uninstall when I'm cleaning the PC, every game I don't play, but games made by these companies I will always find the desire to replay especially if they're from Firaxis, Blizzard, Relic and Nival.

Alpha Centauri and Guild Wars (even though I hardly play nowadays). I include BFBC2 as well, at least until BF3 releases :P

Not a one. I love PC gaming, I've been playing since the early 80's, but 'nostalgic' games are for those who can't let go of the past. Life is short, so if you're holding onto some great game of the past just let it go. PC tech has been in a little slump for the past 5 years so I won't bow my head to anyone at this point. I can recognize gaming milestones, maybe eventually I'll waste a weekend writing an article on how it shaped my future, but I am soooo bored with current gaming that I fear I may have to actually find another hobby.

Pretty much all the games I play get installed and that's it, I'm not much of a quantity gamer. I actually don't have Freelancer or Battlefront installed, because I haven't bothered. I'm also considering reinstalling Medieval 2: Total War (fun, kept loosing) but also haven't bothered yet.

i've had some games installed for quite a while but the only one i can think of that really qualifies is counter strike (source/1.6). i tend to play that on and off ever since i discovered the game.

Jazz Jackrabbit 2. I've installed it on just about every PC/laptop I use frequently since around 2000.

Painkiller, Just Cause 2, Bulletstorm, Civilization, Peggle

The Half-Life series. I have had every Half-Life game and their expansion packs on my HDD ever since I got my own computer. No other game series has the same effect on me.

I have so much fun with these games, I rarely buy new games. I just rotate between them if I get bored, except Starcraft 2 I log on at least once a day for a league game.
