the Battlefield 1942 series in single player campaign, the bots might not be special forces realistic, but they're not dumb.

Panzer Elite that old old panzer sim, which talking about games that should be remade, that's one of em, there aren't recent WWIItank SIMS, i know in battefield you can use tanks. it'd be very nice specially with all the recent graphics and damage model engines that exist.

the IL-2 series are remarkable, with excellent german campaigns

but really there isn't a game with a serious single player mode where you play as a german soldier, obviously it's a VERY SENSITIVE subject still, that i know but still there can be one, without adding the political agenda. maybe it's something we can expect in the following yrs. even more interesting why isnt' there a really complete WWI shooter with all the details and effects, it can be as realistic as possible and there wouldn't be as much controversy. a shooter with the trenches, the mustard gas, mortars, bayonets, snipers, barbed wire. it's a nice idea with single player mode.

Or it could be because Nazi's suck and people hate them, most peope prefer to play the Good guys... especially when it comes to Nazis

I guess in company of heroes you can play skirmish and online using the nazispanzer539

its the Wermacht. the Nazi's were a political party. the German armed forces in WW2 were the Wermacht (of which the average soldier was not a Nazi butmerely a soldier fighting for his country). If you wanted to play as a soldier of the Nazi party you'd be referring to the Waffen-SS.

dont mean to single you out panzer539, im just stating a fact. i dont want people to refer to allGermans during WW2 as Nazi's,because that is not the case (and disrespectful)
