As awesome as i think the Call of Duty games are, the campaigns actually have little replayability for me. Although there are things to keep me coming back, such as Nazi Zombies, Spec Ops, and of course... the insanely addicting multiplayer. I am looking for games that have a lot of replay value, or that last a decent amount of time.I am planning to invest in Medal of Honor and Call of Duty: Black Ops later in the year.

So as you can probably tell, i am a huge shooter fan. But i also can enjoy a few RPGs as long as they are really enjoyable. So suggestions for both are completely welcome :D

Also, if anyone has any ways to ad replayability to games like Call of Duty (the singleplayer portion) please, share that as well :)

RPGs are always the games with the best length and replay-ability. Games like Dragon Age: Origins and The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion you could play for months and not see everything, and this would be months of good solid gameplay not boring grind. If you haven't already you should try RPG games that involve shooting such as Mass Effect 1 and 2, Fallout 3 and other slightly less RPG games like Deus Ex and the STALKER series.

Arma 2 or Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead. The single player story is short in both but as it allows for "scenario base setup" games, the amount of single player potential is infinite. Outside of that you have the infamou Oblivion with the 100-1000's of mods that add more and more. Schump side of things you have Anything with the name Touhou in it. The replay-ability is just ungodly. Depending on taste you may like Harvest: the Last encounter or Sol Survivor Tower defense games. They have great replayability. Racing side you have a little aging but still great Rfactor with its great mod community and multitude of tracks. You may also like DCS: Black Shark which has the be the BEST helicopter simulator made. I;ve pumped in almost 90 hrs playing the game. Microsoft flight simulator might also be up your ally as well. Almost anything game by Valve has great replayability. Team fortress 2, css, l4d1 and 2 are just wow. What l4d1, and l4d2 lack in deep story or maps gets amplified by the almost countless mod Maps including the GREAT l4d1 story campaign I hate Mountains 4. Thats a good base for you there. Hope it helps.

the path

red faction geurilla is fairly large full of replayability

a reckless disregard for gravity (because falling with style NEVER gets old)

I've probably played 2-300 hours of oblivion in my life. I could play that game forever..
