Gears of War (if you have a 360) - Chainsaw is fun!

Dark Messiah - You can behead, cut off limbs, and do all sorts of crazy things. Decent game too, and for the price it is now, deffinetly worth it.

Arx Fatalis - You can dismember enemies.

Alien Shooter 2 - Cool game, with TONS of blood.

Gears of War (if you have a 360) - Chainsaw is fun!

Dark Messiah - You can behead, cut off limbs, and do all sorts of crazy things. Decent game too, and for the price it is now, deffinetly worth it.

Arx Fatalis - You can dismember enemies.

Alien Shooter 2 - Cool game, with TONS of blood.

Bioshock might not have dismemberment, but it has some pretty gruesome blood and bullet/wrench holes when you hit thier bodies, the wrench digs away at thier skin and you can see a chunk missing out of thier body

UT2k4 also has beheadings when you clip someone with a manta

Ya, it's really fun. It got some mixed reviews when it was first released due to bugs (and boy did it have bugs :P) but it's all patched up now and plays well. And for $20 on STEAM, it's a steal.

Definitely F.E.A.R. it's gory and has updated graphics.

Ok, Painkiller and RE4 are on my list. Just watched a video of painkiller where a guy moved down enemies with a gun with some spinning blade on it. :P Looked like fun.

Goriest game I can remember is "Die By The Sword", it's old but it was awesome, your character could get his other leg chopped off and would still keep fighting jumping around with one leg. :P

Looks like there's few zombie games coming too, Dead Island and Left 4 Dead, those should be gory...

Are there any nowadays? I mean something like Soldier Of Fortune where you can blow limbs off people. I'm bored of the current shooters like Stalker and BF2142 where you shoot someone and he just falls down. Mods would do also if there are any, I just feel like taking a head off with a shotgun and see some real blood and limbs flying around. All I can think of are SoF and Postal2, but those are a bit old already.EntwineX

I love the PS2 game (it's my favorite game of all time), but this game should have definently stayed on the consoles, PC versions of action/adventure games are never good, and this is no exception.

Painkiller comes to mind. Any game where your default melee weapon is basically a handheld weaponized blender is bound to be gory.

Pretty decent brainless shootfest with purdy graphics that still hold up well, tons of gore. If you're looking to splash the screen red, not much better out there except Gears of War, which'll be on PC soon enough as well.
