Obviously you haven't played WoW if you say it has the best community.Alaris83i played it for a couple months but i had a generally good experiance with it.
I have to say BF@, since there are so many people that just can be really gay about planes, helis and so on.
It can be pretty bad at times with all of them, but it really depends what server you are on, like css can get extremely bad when u have annoying kids with mics, but thats why you want to find a good clan server with nice and mature admins, wow can get bad but its not like ppl can yell at you in your ear and i would say maybe 50% or more players can be extremely helpful and nice
I would agree that Cod 1 and 2 have the best communitiesÂ
Naw, BF2 and BF1942 have great communities. There are occasionally idiots and jerks but who doesn't have them. But WoW, woo, man, really bad community. In the time playing games and observing communities WoW takes the cake for being the worst MMO community. CSS is the same. This usually comes from a high population of people playing these games. I've notice good communities come from the games that have very little people playing and almost none. Take DoAC, and Tribes for example. Both good communties and hardly a big population sometimes non. I'd rather have a small communtity of players helping each other out, rather than a large community of players putting each other down.I have to say BF@, since there are so many people that just can be really gay about planes, helis and so on.

Ever heard the story that goes like this...?
A couple comes off of a train and asks a guy there on a bench , "How are the people in this town?". The guy replies, "How were the people in the last town?". "Oh, they were terrible. Awful, spiteful, pretentious people.", the couple answers. "Well", said the man, "The people in this town are just like that." The couple gets back on the train and leaves. An hour later another train arrives. A couple gets off and asks the same question. They are met by the same question from the same man, but this time they answer "Oh they were wonderful people, nice, charming and clever too." At this response the man replied, "The people in this town are just like that."
That old illustration, as dog eared as it is, has a poignant point. At seeing this poll, mine would be "Hey, I really liked the folks I met in WOW." But, I have met some great folks in Guild Wars too. I really liked folks from UT, but it was mainly a platform to trade ridiculous insults and profanity. In WOW, I knew folks well enough to want to send christmas cards.
I find it funny the amount of people in this topic calling me an addict because I play World of Warcraft. A couple hours a week, maybe 2-3 instance runs and a bit of messing around with friends. It's not much, but it's enough fun to keep me paying each month. And I know for a fact pretty much everyone I've met playing is like that.
Anyway, communities eh? Well you don't know picky till you've met the original Fallout community. Damn, those guys were, and probably still are, fanatics. On this list though? I haven't played many of those much, but the Counstrike Forums I visited once to ask a question were a cesspool. No wonder so many servers were locked, probably to keep these fools out. Unfortunately that left me out with the morons so I quickly lost interest and went to better online games.
