games with unique gameplay

I'm having trouble finding games I like right now. The last few games I've enjoyed have been Borderlands, Demon's Souls and Stalker. I like RPG's and shooters but really only games that aren't linear or hallwayish. Like Mass Effect 2 I found to be so bland and just recycled Bioware gameplay, anything that has a different approach to the genre it belongs to, Starcraft 2 was ok it was just underwhelming like SupCom 2. So yeah, any advice on games within the past few years that have been good and have had unique gameplay elements, graphics are not that important.

If you can still find Dungeon Keeper 2 (RTS), give it a whirl.

i downloaded the mount and blade warband demo off of steam and its actually a great game :D going to buy it as soon as i get some $

If you want a unique game you can try Amnesia, although its linear its one of the last remaining true horror games.General_X

just prepare to be really scared while playing it couldnt even get through the demo :lol:

urban terror(counterstrike gunplay with a more balanced system, with quake movement and other features the most unique shooter in recent memory imo)

Achron( Meta time strategy game, its like starcraft with time-travel... truley revolutionary will come out in 2011 i think, but if you purchase you can get to play the alpha)

Age of chivalry (its like mount and blade, but first person and its a free mod for source)
