The Steam Gift Cards are now official. You can now get a steam gift card at your local Gamestop (US Only) in either $20 or $50
Great to see steam listening to the demands of the fans.

It would be nice if it came to other countries as well, like, say Canada, which is just north of the US.EliteM0nk3y
North and south/east. Don't forget about Alaska.

Alaska is part of the US...
also never been to a gamestop. I keep reading gamespot...
Lol my thoughts exactly. Gamestop in my area at least has pulled PC games off of their shelves. Even then, I still wouldn't go there. Amazon, Steam, are my go-to services. If anything, I see this as pulling/converting in console gamers. Hey, I play exclusive console games (I kinda force myself to these days), but as a PC gamer, I wouldn't go there to get these Steam cards. It's pretty obvious that this is aiming at a specific market of gamers. More PC gamers are good I guess? Just don't bring in the douche-y ones. :PPC gamers still go to Gamestop? Really?

Lulz just stepped in one for the first time in a year and just spotted those cards. I think see a lot of overweight fellas in there Im guessing they are all preordering some game.
I'm surprised Gamestop isn't pushing their ownership of the DD service they purchased from Stardock, namely Impulse.
Seems they would be telling PC customers to try it out.

Probably because they know it sucks and us PC gamers prefer steam.
I just logged into steam and saw this and Im quite happy. I figure I should load up on some to get ready for the summer sale. That way instead of having to worry about my bank account I will already have pre paid steam cards instead lol.
They should start selling them at the grocery store too so that I won't need to go to GameStop to get them...

They are already working together a little bit. Some of Valve's games are turning up on Impulse now.
This is excellent it makes it easy for family members to gift me games cause they can just give me one of these :)
Nice to see PC gaming step even further into console territory
