It comes to $1012 after shipping, but after the $20 mail in rebate, it comes to $992. Enjoy!

Here is my quick build:
$115 E4300
$100 EVGA 650i Ultra
$130 Crucial Ballistix 2gb DDR2 1066 5-5-5-15 (Micron D9)
$270 EVGA 8800GTS 320mb
$87 WesternDigital RE 320gb SATA 7200rpm 16mb
$50 CoolerMaster Centurion 534 Mid-tower
$95 Corsair HX520w
$18 Lite-ON 16x DVD 48x CD Drive SATA
$32 Sony NEC 18x DVD Burner SATA
$7 NEC Floppy Drive
Total: $903Â
Then all you need in the future is get a Q6600 when you can later this year for $266 and you will be set for awhile.
BTW- I would use XP until a few DX10 games come out.
Â
Eh, I guess you posted while I was typing that. I'm not a big fan of the Allendale, but if this guy isn't a big overclocker, it would work out pretty well for him. the 965 and the 650i Ultra are about the same as well.
BTW, I never buy my HD's online. The weekly Best Buy ads almost always have better deals. My HD was something like $55 dollars. Â

Look at my sig. I plan to buy it later this year. With a $100 case and a $70 600w psu, it will be ready to go and far under $1000. All the parts are on newegg, except the HD and DVD which are at tigerdirect. I now that the graphics card is not a 8800gts, but it is $70 - $80 less. Besides, for those who are upgrading to DX10, by the time a lot of dx10 games come out you will need a more powerfull card anyway.jed-at-war
If you had to get a 8800GTS, you could just spend about $80 bucks more.
Can you put a graphics card into a motherboard with a different chipset? For example: a nvidia 8800GTS in a mobo with a Radeon chipset.
here are the prices:
ASUS M2R32-MVP Socket AM2 AMD 580X CrossFire - $136
AMD 64 X2 +4600 - $115
SAPPHIRE Radeon X1950TX - $200
Kingston 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) - $70
WD Caviar SE 16 250GB 7200rpm 16MB SATA-300 - $70
I forgot the DVD, so here it is:
Pioneer - $40

1. you don't need a dvd burner a dvd drive will work just fine2. the processor you picked out and the one i did are almost identical even though one's clocked a little faster it won't matter because of overclocking
3. i never said everything was the same but majority of it was
4. don't ever say "please don't make stupid comments mastershake" that sounds so gay refering to a person as a username just say don't make stupid comments  Â
