I'm basically in a pickle right now. I have been doing all my PC gaming on laptops. My last one, a Dell, is dying and I'm looking to replace it, but with all the rigs coming out, I just don't know where to aim, either a laptop or a desktop. I would just like to see some suggestions maybe computer brands or models. I'm looking for a really good desktop or laptop. I just don't know what the hell to get....Help, anyone?

definetly get a desktop. Tons'o'performance at less cost and it's upgradeable. I recomend building your own because it's cheaper and it's really not that hard.

I've always preferred desktop.  They have way better videocards, easy to upgrade, more comfortable playing, and much cheaper.

If the laptop can play games that desktops can at the highest settings, then i prefer laptops. Its nice to be able to game no matter where you are.

The money you'll save from getting a "really" good laptop you can build an outstanding desktop and a cheap laptop for mobility.

It's really a matter of what you need it to do - if you need to be able to carry it around with you or you don't have a ton of room where you want to stick it, go with a laptop. You can get a cheaper desktop that will perform better, though, it's just up to you how much you value size and portability.

i would choose a gaming desktop...since its upgradable rather than having to by a new gaming laptop every year b/c the game requirements are too high for ur current laptop...

Although the drawback of a powerful laptop is the poor battery life that you will have.
