Hey I was wondering how much I should be looking to spend for a labtop that will survive like the newest games coming out? I don't really want to spend over 1400$ and I have been checking out Ibuypower.com and cyberpowerpc.com and they look decent buy I don't have enough knowledge to know exactly what I need to play the newer games that are going to be coming out, thanks for the help guys.

This looks like the best laptop in your price range.

The problem with future-proofing is that this stuff gets old so darn fast and laptops are NOT usually upgradable (CPU/GPU). If you want to future proof then you need to get the best graphics card that you can since you'll be stuck with it. Here's a great article that describes all of the laptop GPUs out there.

This really belongs in the PC Hardware section.

But essentially if you're looking at mid range gaming laptops $1200-$1500 your best bet is one of the Asus models with a 8600 GT or 8800 GT. Those two online retailers you listed are truly awful companies to buy from for a myriad of reasons.
