I really considered purchasing a Razer mouse but eventually had to let down due to price. Comparably I chose the Logitech MX 518. I have been using it for a few months now and I absolutely love it. I'm a big fan. Check it out, it costs $42 US dollars so it should be in your price range.

hey,thnx..what mice do u use?w0olf_fang47
I have a Razer Mamba.
I would definitely look at the Logitech MX 518 and it's reviews, which Toribor suggested above you. It seems like a legit mouse at a bit over $10 cheaper than the Deathadder. Although, if it were completely up to me, I'd go with the Deathadder, even though the Deathadder doesn't have the on the fly DPI buttons, but I rarely use those anyway. I just love the feel of these Razer mice.
Dot per inch more there is the more sensitive the mouse is 800 is plenty, though most gaming mouses have around 3000ish (with a few exceptions going over 5000) but it is more for show then actual use (most games playing at 5000 moving the mouse half and inch will make you do a 720).IvanElkActually, high DPI can be useful for certain games. Why do I say this? When you raise the sensitivity setting in the game, the crosshair tends to skip a few pixels, making precise aim that much more difficult. If you can lower the sensitivity so it doesn't do that, but in turn raise the DPI so that you get about the same net sensitivity as before, you'll have finer control. Most games don't have this problem to begin with, though, so I wouldn't place too much emphasis on it. Your three points about comfort, surface, and buttons are definitely the most important, though.

Thanks, your right higher dpi is better, but once you reach a certain point (like I said 800 dpi is great for me and if it matters I play a sniper in most fps's) it isn't a major pro more of just an "extra."

Try this in case you decide settling on the MX518. I got mine from there and it works perfectly, and since you don't have any department store near you, then... yeah :D
yeah, i'd like to tell u guys that neither do i have any department store near me nor do i live in america. I am indian & indian ebay deals s.u.c.ks more than the govt itself. Also, online shopping's still not really realible up here, & if it cant get worse, we dont have a newegg branch in india, hence i'd b spending more money than intended for shipping products overseas. Anyway, thank u guys for your help. I think i'l settle for mx518.http://cgi.ebay.com/Logitech-MX518-1800DPI-Gaming-Optical-Mouse-/310214420746

Do I really need it most of the time, though? No. I didn't replace my first-gen G5 for the G500 because of the increased DPI, but because of the extra buttons and far more sensible DPI adjustment button placement (plus I intended to keep the G5 as a notebook mouse).

What you should look at in a mouse in order from most important to least. 1. Is it comfortable 2. will it work on the surface you play on well 3. Does it have all the necessary buttons (incase you need some extra ones).IvanElkThe resolution you play at should determine your DPI. The higher the resolution the higher DPI you should have. 800 DPI on a 1920 X 1080 res will be horrible. I love the feel of Logitech mice so a MX518 is in your range, but I prefer the G500 which is just past your price point.
hey i am also from india. i have the g500 which is really good( i first got the deathadder and returned it). i boughtt it in ebay for 3350. so if you spend just a little more you can have it. the deathadder was good but a part was broken during shipping and hence i exchanged it for g500.dude, really believe me on the fly adjustment of dpi is a huge bonus in games, atleast for me
