So, after reading through all of the posts here and reviews on other sites. These are the ones I am debating between now:

Logitech G700+G500

Razer Deathadder+Naga

EC2 EVO

Roccat Kone XTD

Anker High Precision

Mionix Naos 8200

Many more options that I was originally looking at when I made this post. I actually had a very large list, but I narrowed it down quite a lot now. Need to do the final decision making now.

Only good mice listed that I have tested and + friend Zubin (These all have good sensors too)

Control tier: EC2 EVO(basically a smaller deathadder), Deathadder 4g

Hybrid: Kinzu v2 pro, zowie fk, Zowie Mico

Fast turning tier: Salmosa Pro (I use this as my main mouse), Krait, Zowie Mico

Mico is listed twice because it's somewhere in between.

Any of those are good, but the krait has the worst build quality out of all of those.

It depends what kind of shots you are going for.

Are you playing close range where you need to turn a lot? Then you want to look at the fast turning tier. These mice are also oriented for fast clicking e.g get hackused for autofire

this (my video)

Loading Video...

Or if you want a control oriented tier(not my video)

Loading Video...

If you have no idea what you want at all, get a EC2 EVO and if that's not in stock get a zowie fk.

List of mediocre mice(with good sensors): Abyssus, WMO, g400s(clicking is horrible, g400 is fine), Zowie AM, that garbage you listed, orochi, probably more I can't remember.

WOW Razer mouse, just to be precise all gaming accecories are garbage, I used to own Razer Imperator and now I own Roccat Kone XTD, a friend if mine had Imperator as well and Logitech G500, all of em' are getting double clicks or triple after a year or so, That's why I don't recommend accecories at all but if getting one at least be innovative that's why I choose Roccat.

this is a good sign of someone who has no idea what they are talking about

you don't have any analysis of the weight balance, the clicking, anything.

I mean you can prove me wrong by showing your tracking with that mouse of yours

http://aim400kg.ru/train/?a=ea_v2&ln=en

ps razer's lineup is terribly inconsistent. deathadder, salmosa pro, are good.

their build quality isn't the best, but those two mice are very good.

You know when you see a beautiful girl down the street it's the body that makes, her pretty and not the clothes.

Same goes about gaming you can own the most comfortable gaming accecories but at the end of it all it's the gamer skills and not the tech.

wau, so you don't have any real argument

why would you not bother to see what suits you individually the best? I'm the #1-2 best lg dueler in QL NA, why would I not want to optimize my setup?

Death Adder 2013 has yet to have the double click issue and if you ordered black Friday would have been 25$ off making the mouse a very good purchase.

Also to the TC, honestly it depends on what tracking you like (Optical, laser), what grip you like (palm, claw, etc...).

The g9x is awesome, but it is older and not really suited for a palm grip (the wideload grip still did not make it comfortable for my hands). Also scroll wheel went out on me after a year. Wouldn't say its super durable. Also I had some tracking issues before I retired it, but it overall is in its early stages of life was a great mouse.

If you wanted something newer Razer death adder 2013 is great, however, software sucks (always my complaint with razer), if you have hands bigger than most you might have a little trouble doing a full palm grip, but the mouse is very comfortable to claw. Also I really like the grip stuff they added on the side. In addition, its really light (even compared to the old death adder), which is preference.

If you want to get something different the Corsair M65 is pretty cool, the tracker had some problems early on, but as far as I know they are resolved. Drivers are way better than Razer, and the fact it has an aluminum body frame is awesome. For me button placement was fine, but some people can't reach the snipe button. The negative is the mouse kinda has an odd shape, and is heavy as shit (the mouse is basically a plastic covered aluminum block). The heavy part isn't necessarily a negative just depends on what you like (I like heavy). Has weight adjustment, but I honestly would laugh at people that want more weight in that mouse.

While I have not personally used one the Func MS-3 is an awesome palm grip mouse (my friend has one and praises it), but the problem with it is some horrific quality control, and pretty bad customer service. It probably has the best side button placement and form for palm grip (like it is basically designed for palm grip, so if you don't like palm grip you will not want this mouse).

These are the mice I have a good amount of experience/knowledge on (that are actually worth mentioning), but to be honest it is up to you, and what your preferences are what mouse you go with.

This is all very good and helpful :). I play RTS games and MMO's mainly. I am not much of an FPS player on the PC. Therefore, I am assuming a fast-turning mouse is not necessary for me. I am also more of a palm gripper than a claw gripper.

With all that in mind, I am looking at the Razer Deathadder, Func MS-3.

The Roccat Kone XTD and Steelseries Sensei do not look bad, but I do not know much about them.

I have been through two death adders the first lasted two years the second only one year . Between the two of them iv had the double click issue as well as unresponsive buttons between mouse one through four. I have moved onto a wireless g700 which iv loved for the passed year. That was until I began to experience the dreaded right double clicking malfunction once again just in time for the release on bf4 no less.

I've been using the G700 for the past 3 years without a single issue (I use it wired, not wireless).

Maybe your pressing the buttons too hard, lol... :P

You have to understand (people complaining about the death adder). The death adder 2013 is a reworked version, they most likely had fixed the double click issue that plagued the previous model. I don't know for sure yet, but I have yet to hear of a complaint of the 2013 having double click.

lol the fanboy wars continue as ever.

TC, as a owner of a Roccat Kone (older one) they are decent, but they do nothing special, and despite being a fan of roccat I must admit, most features on Razer products are far more useful. (even though they are ugly imo).

My girlfreind has bought me a Razer Naga 2014 edition (because its a similar shap and feel to roccat instead of the awful older razer design). now, its gonna be abit bulky. but the way i see it is, all these gaming mice do the same damn thing... and I stopped caring about things like DPI after 1000 years ago when logictech was the big deal.

But the razer naga has 12 mechanical keys to make rpgs and inventory choosing faster, also consider the benefits if you are a designer, programmer or whatever that likes hotkeys.... a numpad on your mouse instead of 2 basic buttons.

IT maybe inferior to some mice that fanboys may shout about. but think of the practicallity. THIS is coming from someone who has never liked razer.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Razer-Naga-Expert-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B00E8JKKPE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1386255291&sr=8-1&keywords=razer+naga

at the end of the day, majority of mice do the same thing. but this actually offers something.

I would go for the death adder or naga out of that list depending if you want to have the macro keys or not (I can't stand mouses with that many thumb buttons personally even for MMO's or RTS's where you could potentially use them.

Logitech would probably be my second choice.

And no matter what you get make sure you use some sort of mouse pad optimized for what tracker it uses (optical or laser) The ripper is a pretty cheap decent one for optical mice.

Laser mice from my experience are very particular to the surface they track on, opticals are a little more flexible, and overall the higher end opticals tend to be more reliable.

@JigglyWiggly_ I agree with him, except on the logitech, from what I heard it has improved immensely since its launch.

I went to Best Buy today to try out some of the mice I listed about (basically just seeing how they fit in my hand). I was able to test the Razer Naga 2014 + Epic, Razer Deathadder, Logitech G700+500, and Roccat Kone XTD. I strayed away from the Naga since my Logitech G510s has 18 G-Keys. The Roccat Kone XTD was a bit different grip than I was used to. I am a palm gripper, but it literally wanted my whole palm on the mouse. If it wasn't fully on, my pinky was bothered by the mouse. Both Logitech mice felt very comfortable, and so did the Razer Deathadder. Since the Deathadder was only 43 bucks, I saved around $50 and picked that one. It did give me some issues with running alongside my G510s, but I believe I finally got the issue sorted out. Since it's late and I just got the issue fixed, I haven't had time to test it out in any games, but I love the feel of it so far. Multicolor options would be nice to go with my keyboard since the 510s has a poor quality green, but not a big deal at all, lol. Just something I've been able to notice so far.

Thank you all for all of the help! Truly helped my choose a mouse.

I am looking for a mouse pad now to go along with my mouse if anyone would like to give any suggestions towards that. I mainly play RTS and MMO's. FPS games are not a huge thing for my on PC, but I hop into the occasional FPS game (not very often).

Stay away from Razer and you should be okay. I was using a G700 but it's heavy and I prefer a claw grip.

I switched to a CM Storm Xornet and I like it.

This is the best mouse that I have ever used. Except for only having 3 buttons, it's far better than any laser mouse that I've used (light as a feather, 6 month+ battery life, far more accurate on mousepads, ergonomic). I wish that I still had it :(

The accuracy was amazing. I could land the cursor on people's head 100% of the time. I would literally get 50:1 kill ratios in Rainbow Six. It was far more accurate than any laser mouse that I've used, that's for sure. I'm probably going to get one off of ebay or something...

i never said laser mice were better than optical, they're not

that mouse just doesn't have that great of a sensor and it doesn't overclock in hidusb so you're stuck with 125hz polling

i have had one of those, there are much better mice.

also kdr is not evidence, gotta show that gameplay footage

i never said laser mice were better than optical, they're not

that mouse just doesn't have that great of a sensor and it doesn't overclock in hidusb so you're stuck with 125hz polling

i have had one of those, there are much better mice.

also kdr is not evidence, gotta show that gameplay footage

Do you know of a more accurate optical mouse that's just as light and ergonomic? I'm definitely in the market for one...

ec2 evo

Looks good, but it's pricey. Have you tried the E-3lue Cobra? I just read a review that claims it's just as good as top of the line optical mice, but the same review praises laser mice, and I don't like em...

Oh I just noticed he got the Deathadder. Uh oh. Hehe, enjoy the ride back to your computer store when you return that POS. I had the exact same mouse and it was a piece of garbage, the right mouse button was faulty and the battery died very quickly. I quickly found out Razer spends all their money marketing trashy products in flashy boxes. Sorry to hear that, good luck with your next mouse purchase.

Such garbage right? Dude my wired mouse battery dies so much. Man **** razer for putting out a wired mouse with such a shitty battery life. Like as soon as I unplug it it stops working. GAH!

Anywho, you realize death adders do not have a battery right?

From what I have read on here as well as other reviews, the Deathadder's right mouse button issue has been fixed in the 2013 version (which I have). It was the older models that had the issue. Also, IvanElk is correct, the Deathadder is not wireless, lol.

@IvanElk: I had the Mamba. It's a piece of garbage and I returned it with a day of unboxing it. The right mouse button was faulty. Pretty box though.

You were the one saying you had the exact same one, mamba does not equal death adder. Razer isn't consistent, but the death adder is a good product.

Razer puts out a lot of gimmicky products. On that note, I would recommend the Deathadder 2013 if you palm grip. Abyssus if you favour the claw.

The only Razer products I would recommend would be the Blackwidow keyboards, the Deathadder 2013, and the Abyssus. Others are case by case basis.
