Hi, I'm new to this forum and have a question. I'm willing to spend £300-400 on a new PC (mines shite) and I'm not exactly computer savvy. What PC should I get? Thanks in advance!

Are you looking to buy a pre-built PC?

You should go to the Computer Hardware Forum http://www.gamespot.com/forums/board/314159272/computer-hardware-discussion But for a gaming PC, you should be prepared to spend at least £500 for something decent.

This looks good for you. I bought a PC from Mesh back in the day when I had no clue how to build one myself, and I was pleased with them.

I don't know your requirements. If you're using it to play games, then it's a terrible, TERRIBLE PC. An extra £200 will make it competent for gaming.

I know, the problem is that I don't know what his requirements are. If it's just for Internet browsing, work and some light uses, it's fine not to have a proper GPU.

For gaming, he should add another £200 in the budget. £250 to be realistic.

If you don't mind getting a used one you can get something decent for that price.

Or something like this?

That is fine, but the half the satisfaction of building a PC is a good result. £ 300 - 400 for a PC is low even for this gen, when next-gen consoles are out you might as well buy a console with that budget, if you are into AAA titles that is.
