Hello. I'm currently interested in building an energy efficient cost effective gaming rig and I need a little help.

Im looking into getting a Lian Li minitower that fits a full ATX mother board.

I'm not sure as to which cpu to use. AMD or Intel? Mind you Im on a budget. A cool running energy efficient dual/quad core recommendation would be appreciated.

What is the best brand of motherboards(with the most functionality) to use and why?

I'm also looking for a mid range video card that can play all the latest games ie: Street Fighter IV/NBA 2K9 (Yes I know Im a casual PC gamer)

How much wattage would I need in a power suppy to run those types of games without drastically running up the electric bill?

How do most of you play pc games? Do you still use discs or do you install the game on a HDD? If the latter, is it the same HDD that you store your other information or do you use a different HDD to play?

Thank you so much for you help. I havent played games on a PC since 1998.

Two things I can recommend: Radeon 4870 Phenom Quad core ^^ Heard thats the best price/performance at this point in time.

Thank you very much Kilerchese! One more thing, I want to play Batman AA. I heard there were some problems playing the game with an ATI card?

Performance should be between the GT 220 and 9600 GT.
