Great computer... It seems like they are taking quite a bit of your money though. I doubt you would need 4gigs of memory, but you might want to read on that because 4gigs might be req. for a Quad-core (From what Ive heard Quad-cores still havent been worked into some of the older games programing so it might run as good as a dual-core, but probably not much better). And the 8800 would easily run better than the dual x1950s. If you want to build your own computer, which is quite an experience and a couple 100$ cheaper, go to www.newegg.com (although you lose the warrenty from company you bought it from. You would still have warrenty from individual items unless you install them wrong.

If you know how to build a computer, I suggest you do that, but if you don't, then that seems like a good choice, a bit pricey though :\.  Plus, what video card do you plan on getting, and do you plan on goind qaud core in the future?

Dell is good, but not for the price.  Dell owns Alienware, so the oricing is similar, but the PC/Customization options are better.
