To see the diferences between mobo's go to newegg, like the gigbyte X48 mobos all look the same but some use DDR3 some have 6 sata plugs some have 8 sata plugs etc, also if you are building now and are not a super enthusiast I would recomend DDR2 ram, getting 4gb of DDR2 is really cheap now

I do think ddr2 ram is the better deal right now... but with nehalem being ddr3 only, you might want to consider ddr3 for a cheaper upgrade in the future. If you don't plan on upgrading, get ddr2. I believe x48 has both options.

IDK if he decides to upgrade to Nethalem I think DDR3 prices will have significantly fallen and so geting the DDR2 now would be better especially with the 3 channel stuff, just my opinion though

i wonder what are the cpu price for 2.6Ghz nehalem estimation. and motherboard i'm keep thinking of money lol
as it something new i was thinking to go like Before X48 & E8600 but. now that they say so even E8600 OC to 4.3ghz should under-perform nehalem 2.6Ghz that wut i heard and not only that nehalem Bloomfiles is like 40% better then any wolfdale cpu Overclock with airflow & water cooling i heard for application thread. and % usage that would result as less 99% cpu usage and crash down else i woudl go X48 & e8600 o Q9650 but it would underperformed for gaming expierane the Triple channel dDR3 & bloomfield so ? A 4870x2 : nehalem bloomfield & triple Channel DDR3 1333mhz would perform better then DDR2 Dual channel 800mhz in all case right ? since i would not try to overclock unless it keep the nehalem under warranty or. that it safe like E8500 Can be OC safe to 3.8ghz. 4.0ghz when have the right ram like said Elanm2008 one of my friend here
that wut i heard . about OC the mutiplayer reside on ur RAm as Well so sometime 800mhz DDR2 Can Outperofrm DDr3 1333mhz For Overclock. but for nehalem Bloomfield it a whole new thing i bet they won't be nice guide and confirmation of cpu overclock if it allowed . before 2009 Q1 Q2 (with guide how to do it) and if it really safe

Cause I donno about Bloomfield potential i hope by next month they tell more :P
i wonder also if in canada 4870x2 will drop from 600$ To like 520$ by then and it know yet the 4870x2 outperform 280gTx SLI in 75% Of the game. so it the leading gpu. on 1920x1200 so people should stick to 4870x2 if they go nehalem. or 4850 Crossfire with Two Card 2 or 4870 X2 Card. CF but 4870x2 outperforms 4870 (standart crossfire) by 5 to 10% and Overclock another 10% But that according coolIt Technology of Water-cooling Overclock AFter-market cooler
does of the Bridge Architecture of Bandwidth to Both gpu i heard or something like that . don't know much about it
well since ati lead video card it just knowing if price will drop and how would a good system of nehalem would cost to outperform current e8500 OC & e8600 OC.
trough it may cost a whole just does of DDR3 IF they don't drop price.
