It wouldn't be up to Bungie, it's more or less up to Microsoft since they own the publishing rights. Funny, there is supposedly a special treat for PC Halo: CE online players in the upcoming months. It's suspected to be some little thing for long time PC Halo CE online players and Bungie wanted to show some appreciation. Anyone who had played a legal copy of Halo CE online from it's release to just before the end of May this year had their CD key saved onto a central server and everyone in that list will be eligible for this special item/thing/whatever. Some are thinking it may tie into Reach. I'd really like to know what it may be. Back to porting the other Halo games to PC, it would surely be profitable for MS to do so. They would be the perfect game titles to really push their own digital download service which as far as I know, nobody really one cares at all about. Making Gears of War 2 and 3 available at some point for PC would be cool too and full mod support for the GeoW and Halo titles would help to boost sales and regain some of the "street cred" MS and especially Epic have lost with the PC world. Yes, pirating is an issue, but there are still masses of faithful who still show their love by legally buying good, quality games that don't demonize good users and inhibit us with ridiculous DRM and software requirements. There are better, easier and less intrusive ways of implementing DRM than MS is known for using and GFWL by no means should be a requirement for any kind of gameplay, online or off.Intresting as it sounds, I really doubt Gearbox will port it. I mean this is Bungies "Most anticipated, Game of the year" I really doubt they'd let it be ported to PC. I do hope I'm wrong though.
