gears issues

i recently updated gears because i was tired of the question "Do you want to update?" popping up everytime and i wanted to get my achievments. it played correctly after the update, but the next day, it says "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Gears of War\binaries\wargame-g4wlive.exe: You cannot run the game with modified executable code. Please reinstall game." i reinstalled it and the same message reappears. ive searched for help online, but i cant find any. does anyone know how to fix this problem?

just change PC date to 1/28/2009 and it should run fine.tazjam67

or you could do teh smart thing and just install teh latest update that fixes the time issue.

I had the same problem! DON"T REINSTALL!! when the error come up, put it into google, and there is a small patch you need to download, fixed it for me :)

i cant even get to the main menu, so i wont know about any updatesbeanlord56

set ur computers month to january 2009 and it will run fine.
