Yeah I seen a video of the gameplay at gamevideos.com you guys might want to go take a look at it. It looks good and seems like it plays good to. It looks like they have some extra things in the single player mode. There was a boss fight with a Dino with a Big gun on his back. I have it on 360 and I beat many times and never seen that creature B4.
they took the vids of those links guys so i guess will have to wait for e3 to see if us pc guys are lucky and get gears of war for the pc.that game is awesome cause i have it for my 360 and that game is the best just figured let ya guys and anybody else that seen this thread know that they did take the vids off those websites

Yeh i got it on 360 it looks so much better it looks faster and smoother.. All the levels look tottally different i cant wait.

Microsoft is the publisher. Epic, on the other hand, is a PC-oriented development studios with an excellent track record on the platform. Plus, Gears of War itself was originally slated for release on both PC and 360.
Not to mention the Gears of War profile found in several beta versions of NVIDIA display drivers in 2007.

Microsoft Game Studios is publishing it. It has a good chance of being Vista exclusive.
However, Epic is one of the few developers that goes the extra mile to support as many platforms as possible. So we may see multiple API, multiple Operating System support. They're supposedly going to be doing this with Unreal Tournament 3, though with Microsoft Game Studios isn't the publisher on that project.
It is for the PC. On GameTrailers, the name of the video was, "Gears of War PC E3 Montage." Plus the vista unlocked symbol, new areas, etc. Gears of War 2 would have improved graphics, plus Merk Rein already said no Gears of War 2 at E3.

How? Personally I find using controllers for shooters, no matter first-person or third-person, incredibly cumbersome compared to mouse/keyboard.
If C&C3 and BFME2 can work on a controller with just a few buttons, then Gears of War has no problem with a machine that's got roughly a hundred buttons and the most precise pointing device.
I saw the video and it had an achievement. I doubt it was a PC game.

The fact that it has achievements (and will hopefully have online) makes me wonder if it's a Games for Windows Live game... does that service require Vista? Because I know that the two games that have it so far are Vista-exclusive.
I doubt it's going to be Vista only, even if Microsoft is going to publish this game. Epic will probably even offer support for linux, just like they have done in the past.
^----and you would be right. Shawn Elliot, Games for Windows Magazine, has stated over at the 1up and neogaf boards that there will be an XP version and most likely a linux version since Epic has always supported those platforms. Epic would be wasting their time releasing a Vista only game, as hardly anyone has upgraded, nor will people upgrade in mass over this game. MS would have to pay Epic a boat load of money to keep it on Vista only.
There are no videos, but try finding Gears of Wars for PC in the E3 tab here, and there absolutly nothing about it... or maybe the videos are for the XBOX360 but someguy read it wrong and leaked the video stating its for PC when it MIGHT not be...
Ever noticed the Achievement Unlocked during one of the vids? So basically lets say, yes it is for PC, im sure its going to another Vista exclusive one with its stupid Live crapola... Im sure Microsoft is going to screw PC gamers like us somehow... they always have!
