gears of war for pc

i just read something on a french game website about the game for pc and it basically say that it will come out for pc( we already know that) and the reason it is taking so long is that Epic games dont have enough people to work on two games at the same time and that it will release ut 3 before we will be able to see gear of war i though i would share it will all of you who are waiting for some more news and if it is old news sorry

Im just hoping it doesn't turn into the same thing as what happened with Halo and Halo2. By the time they hit the PC (years later), the game is the same as the console versions and by that point there are other games that have everyones attention and those that own consoles too have already played the game.

Gears of War coming to the PC? Of course. Gears of war being good for the PC? Unknown.

well, that's kind of a silly question, considering the many facts that are involved in the subject, like
1.-fact like that Epic is not mediocre like Bungie, and they won't release GOW like 3 years later and make a piece of poop
2.-fact like that EPiC is a PC developer and not a console one and their guys are really hardcore performance-wise
3.-fact like UT3 being "Gears of Wars plus" as they said to the OXM, and it's primarily a PC game

So the final answer, is "as long a Micro$oft don't ruin the whole thing for the PC, you can rely heavily on Epic for an amazing GOW experience oo PC"

I sure hope that's true. I cannot understand how Microsoft can improve the sales of Vista by making certain games Vista exclusives. Unless you are an extreme fanboy, I don't think upgrading to Vista to run Halo 2 is even an option. And I sure as hell don't see how this is helping Halo 2 either.

So yeah, let's hope that Gears of War don't announce that they are going Vista exclusive. Now, that would be really sad.

Dunno. PC's don't have anywhere near the hardware capabilities of a 360.

What are you talking about my XFX 8600 gt is already more powerfull :!

The 7900 is just as powerfull as the 360 and the 8800gtx is x2 as powerfull

that's a nice one, as a matter of fact and extremely good one.

Cause over the last years Epic had had an amazing support and compatibility with Mac for their games, and i'm sure they'd love to take out GOW for MAC, but then it comes to hand M$, hahahaha oh man, business

I really wonder if they will be able to create the same atmosphere on the PC as they did with the game for the Xbox 360. Some games have managed to accomplish this, but others looked nothing more then bad rip offs of the original.DirkVDV01
