I cant wait Gears of war Miinium specs are

2.4 ghz single core

1gig of ram

and a 6600gt

It has coop and a friends list as shown in this screen

as you can also see in the screens the games look ALOT Better than 360 version

theres a video at the bottom of the preview of it in action. I cant wait for this game. Everything will be better in this version

I'm curious if all the multiplayer features will be in for the XP-installation, as all that XBLive! stuff is accessible only to Vista last I checked.

Requires are a bit lower than I expected, I'm assuming a 6600 GT would be with all the settings cranked down, as I seriously doubt a card that slow (by todays standards) can run something as gorgeous as GoW full-speed.

Regardless, looking forward to see'ing how it fares on the PC, keeping my out on it, only ever played it on the 360 before, on an SDTV, on stereo, offline. >.>

Nope. For GFW: LIVE, you only need a Silver Account to play online. Gold is for extras.

The nvidia 6600gt is pretty much the Ati x700 series. This means that the game fully supports Shader Model 2. This is a great game, I have it on Xbox 360, am looking into selling my copy on the 360 just to get this for the PC the keyboard mouse combo is priceless.Elite_Rendog92

I'm not 100% sure but I doubt this game will work with SM2(the 6600 supports sm3). No other UE3 games have supported so it so I doubt this title will

I'm pretty sure they will have DX 10 effects put in for good measure... Tho I dun think it's NECCESSARY for you to play it in DX 10 I guess.... sliderdimension

They will, and none of it is really necessary. That includes lighting, AA, and every other kind of eye candy. It just makes it look better. :)

It only shows the buttons when you're playing with an xbox controller... In fact, it will switch from buttons to key prompts in the middle of game play if you switch from controller to KB/M
