Seriously... I mean, I'm all for games having settings enabling them to run on lower-spec'd machines, but not when they look that ugly... maybe pumping up the resolution a little bit would help...

hmmm.... your resolution runs low and you must be using a 15" inch monitor. What is the speed of your processor? coz some P4 runs at 1.4 GHznic4gamesI have 17" inch monitor and my processor speed is 3.00 GHz.
How is that possible, this guy is running it on high with a 7600gt.

Wanna know something wierd? the game runs the exact same for me on Low and on Highest settings, and I have double like everything the requirements say you need. It's odd, I start playing, it's pretty smooth, and then I'll lag at the most random parts, not like when there's a ton of guys on screen, it's just like my computer thinks "bah w/e, he plays too many games *lag*"
I guess it proves the possiblity of a Wii version......skrat_01
Haha, lets see if they can dumb down crysis, I wanna throw a chicken and punch it using the wiimote.

My flatmate runs it with an amd 3500 +, 1gb ram, and a 6600gt with more than 128mb video ram i think (they released versions with up to 512 i think). All settings low, of course, but resolution is 1024x768, and it looks and runs fine. its possible that the extra video memory is whats making the difference; but id expect a normal 6600gt to handle 1024x768 (i used to have one). Maybe try some tests? Got the latest drivers and everything? The latest directx is important, for both xp and vista.
Also, the single player campaign will mostly like thrash a bit when loading new areas, if you have 1gb of ram. Its not good programming really, but it still plays fine when its not loading. Also, the multiplayer runs absolutely fine, him and me and a couple of others just had a nice little bloodbath...
