Hmmm...

I'm a bit skeptical. Will wait for feedback.

Just installed them. Will fire up Skyrim now to see if anything has improved.

Makes sense considering Skyrim sales figures on PC are greater than the next top 5 selling PC games combined :P Maybe Bethesda will release a patch to remove the console stench from the game? I've been using beta drivers anyway and oddly enough I've been crashing less on BF3 just by decreasing my mouse sensitivity even more(I turn really fast) so hopefully my gaming marathon that starts tomorrow after my last final exam will run smoothly with some Minecraft, Skyrim, Mount & Blade: WFAS, BF3, SR3, RF4:A, Dead Island, Payday: The Heist, SC2, EDFIA, RO2, RF3:G, JC2, Tribes: Ascend, DoD, and a bunch of other games I've been itching to play :D

Just installed these drivers and noticed no (or very little) performance increase. I am disappointed.

Hah! I'm "still" right. Bethesda will never solve this. :P Still love Skyrim though hehe.

Not gonna bother I dont think, since an above post states theres little or no difference in performance. Im assuming hes talking about Skyrim anyway.

 Sorry that I'm laughing at your misfortune, Mitu. But Nvidia has been full of fails lately.. especially with their beta drivers. I'm beginning to give up on them. I have a GTX 580 and I've been disappointed with several game releases this year. Developers not fine-tuning their games and Nvidia are more than likely at fault as well. So much for working together to create quality work.

Their previous drivers didn't have this problem, even in beta, a screen of a previous beta driver, and yes I uninstalled the latest one:

I'm using 285.79. It's the most stable of the three betas for me. The 290.36 you're referring to in the screenshot, is a hit or miss. Personally, it screwed up my Skyrim and BF3. I'm beginning to think they are neglecting the GTX 580. It sucks.

I'm using 285.79 now and that's what I used for the screen. But even then 290.36 didn't have this problem.

I am having no issues with 285.62 driver on Skyrim with settings maxed on a GTX 470. I don't really see a need for a new driver just yet, although it has been a couple months now.

That's one reason I wait for the WHQL version to be released, as they are still fine-tuning the driver until they go for MS certification. The only time I made an exception was for TW2, but that one worked because CDPR was coordinating with Nvidia (they do have the TWIMTBP logo).

Since most peoples bottleneck is the bad CPU optimization in this game i doubt many people see a drastical increase in performance.

I fired up my wife's rig, and it basically ruined Skyrim. Slowdown, and seeing artifacts. i7 2.6ghz, Win 7 ultimate 64, 6GB RAM, EVGA GTX295 1.7GB COOP. Reverted back driver, and no issues.
