Geforce 8600GTS installed now no internet or audio!

Today, I installed 2GB RAM, a 500W PSU, and an EVGA Geforce 8600GTS OC. The PC is recognizing the RAM, the PSU is hooked up correctly, and the computer is running fine, other than it says the audio output device is not found/cooperating, and I have no internet. I installed the latest NVidia drivers, and I have a wireless adapter hooked into a PCI slot, and it is recognizing it, only it says now that it isn't compatible or something of the sort. Any help here? Geek Squad isn't calling me until tomorrow, and I tried everything I can think of.

PS--I was previously using Integrated Video/Sound, and I have Vista, so when I installed the 8600, the int vid was automatically disabled. Also, everything about audio in the BIOS is enabled.

update your mobo drivers. i dunno what brand board you have but whoever made it should have drivers for network controllers and sound controllers.

If I can't find the CD, and the computer is a gateway, and I don't have a clue of the mobo (and it's not on the actual moboI don't think) can I find the drivers using my serial number? And do I install the NVidia drivers first, THEN install the mobo drivers? And this will fix my audio and wirless adapter you think? It is currently saying the wireless adapter (which is connected to a PCI slot) is not supported, or working, or something stupid, and the GeForce is connected to a PCI-E slot. Sorry for the 78 questions, but I will try to find the CD.
