if you enjoy throwing money down the drain on a pile of s**t Dell, then go nuts. otherwise, make your own for about the same price that is better, and isnt a Dell.

Avoid Dell, HP, Compaq, and Gateway like the plague. An OEM PC just isn't up to par for gaming as most of them don't seem to have a clue about "PC COOLING." The best thing you can do is buy a good case (Antec 900, Sonota II or III, etc), and don't skimp on the ram (at least 2GB), and a good video card (7800GT or better).

Go here:

http://www.ibuypower.com/ibp/store/configurator.aspx?mid=182

Give the pc 1GB of ram and a 7600gt, and it will be able to play FEAR. ibuypower.com is the best place to buy pcs other than building your own.

no that's a default system. You should select 1024mb in the memory secion. A 7600gt (or similar) in the drop down Video Card section. Lastly you will need to select vista premium as the OS. Then you have something that will run fear and most other games reasonably well.

for the love of god dont waste your money on Vista, wait till they actually fix it, and even then, you could always come across one of the infamous free copies(will happen soon enough)

If you buy a computer your going to get big time scammed, YOU HAVE TO BUILD IT YOUR SELF IF YOU WANNA PLAY GAMES ON IT AND NOT PAY OVER $1600!!!!!! (caps for emphasis). It is really easy to build it your self, its cheaper and it is better.
