I'm trying to get a new headset mic today, but unfortunately I have a large head. Due to this, most mics on headsets wont reach my mouth and nobody can hear me when I'm playing online. Does anyone know of any good quality headsets that have extendable mics on them? (Where you can adjust the length of the mic) Any input would be appreciated.

a mic does not necessarily need to be very close to the mouth so people can hear u...u just need to adjust the mic volume sensitivity on the sound option or in the game

I have the steelseries 4H and it has a retractible mic, if that's what you mean? I like it. It's cheapish too, got it for $35 CAD, I think.

As for length of the mic - I'd say longer than average.
