Getting new computer. Recommend some titles please? :p

Basically I'm doing an upgrade that will allow me to play almost every game out right now on high or maxed settings (maybe medium). Recommend some games? My favorite genre has to be the FPS genre. I cannot...repeat, cannot get into real time strategy games, for it is way too slow paced for my taste.

Doesn't have to have an online multiplayer, although that would be great. I guess I'm open to any game type except for RTS. As long as it's fast paced (or I guess...fast paced enough), there we go. I already have Elder Scrolls Oblivion.

I was thinking about getting STALKER or Battlefield 2...anyway thanks :)

Vanguard, Saga of heroes, is a quite new MMORPG game, I tried it, its quite fun but I dont like to play it because i only have 17fps~

If you have a great computer you should try it, the graphic is quite nice but I doubt you will be able to run it on highest settings =(

Edit; You should check Battlefield 2142 out, its kinda cool. I like it :P

Anyway, You should get either bf 2142 or bf2. Depends on which one you like the most.

I mean, do you prefer a sci-fi shooter or a shooter with the normal ak47 and all those things? xD

I personally prefer bf2142 more :p

The review says the graphic engine is showing its age, well, Unless your really picky and want perfeeeect graphic this shouldnt bother you, at least it got better than bf2. and the load times, meeh, the only times they are long is when your entering the server for the first time.

Just looking for good online multiplayer chaos. I may have to get UT2004, but who knows. I've only played a laggy demo on my old computer of Battlefield 2. As far as sci-fi or modern goes, I don't really care, I just want the one with the better gameplay / multiplayer.

Been playing Call of Duty (1 and 2) for years online because that was the only thing I could handle up to this point. Really, really sick of World War 2 as of now. 

If you want some chaos I do have to recommend bf2142 again.

If you play on a server with 64 people in its very fun.

It almost feels real sometimes xD

Tanks and two legged robots enters the scene, killing a lot,  theres also a cool missile system, I dont really know how it works but it feels awesome when it happensm which is quite often.

Its like a bomb rain at one area,  if you happen to be in the area you go like, Damn, gotta take cover fast!, and you get a little dizzy screen and the sounds goes a little weird, just like when your hit by a grenade...

What im saying is, the game feels like a war.

BF2142 is very similar to BF2, it's just a bit further in the future and adds in hover tanks and giant mech like vehicles as well. Both games are incredibly fun.

So there's no difference, besides for graphics and timeline setting. 

the game will run easily on your pc....2142 is kind of crummy due to the hackers.....but it is worth a look.

Because if you mean the one that always get headshots and so, I havent seen so many of them :D

A friend of a friend told me that Battlefield 2 was very easy to hack, says the supposed uber hacker.

Hate Call of Duty 2 very much, and CS is a bit outdated with many hackers.

Dude, if you are into multiplayer games which give you some fast action, get Quake 3. I don't know about FEAR Combat.
