All of my products have always been Razer I love all of there perpherials and im not a picky guy really. If you slap a razer logo on it and it works it's good enough for me. But for the first time I have a complaint. I HATE Razer Headphones, I had the Tiamats 7.1's, Carchairas, Megalodons and every headset was a mistake. I mean the quality is great, some are comfy and the audio is clear but the thing that makes it no good for me is one thing. My part members in skype can hear my music volume and I listen to my music at full blast and I hate turning it down for my firends lol.

So heres my "solution" My buddy just picked up theSteelSeries Siberia v2's and we did a sound test via skype with his music at full volume and I could not hear it being picked up in his mic (and yes I played with all playback deviced and recording it's just the razer products for me). So what do you guys think about the "SteelSeries Siberia v2 Frost Blue" for me? The test came out great at my buddies, I havent had a chance to swing by his house and try em and I probably wont. But I like the color scheme, It matches my White/Blue NZXT Phantom case and brings some light to my dark keyboard/mouse combo.

Thoughts?

lol this topic proves so many points. "slap a razor logo on it and it works for me." talk about brainwashed clueless kids.

Razer products are garbo and so are any 'pr0 gamer 1337' labelled products.

Steelseries are also garbo. The Siberia and 5H are 2 of the biggest jokes in the headphone industry. Beyond poor quality from the actual headphone to the mic to the build quality.

Even some of the cheapest Sennheiser's decimate the jokes released from Steelseries, Razer, Turtlebeach, Bose, etc.

So, I learned by reading from your post that you are ignorant and stupid. And a fail troll who can only afford the Dell Keyboard that was included with his bundle pack that he bought from Best-Buy.

I didn't ask you to judge me for what products I liked, I asked for feedback on a single headset that im sure many users would gladly do. And for the refference again... I'm 33 making me "not a kid".

You are the biggest asshat on this forum lmao. You have no money and can't buy nice things it's really funny how every post you make knowone respects you. The statement I made about Razer is practically the incentive to people buying "Macs" but knowone here judges people for buying macs so what point are you trying to make still.

It fails to make any sense.

Buy nice headphones. Use a microphone that sits on your desk. My friends all do this, chatting through Steam and it comes through crystal clear. And if you have your music turned up to the point of your friends being able to hear it through the mic, how can you hear them, might I ask?

Whats with all the trolls here lately? Who cares if he likes Razer products, they do make some good stuff, maybe they're just lacking in the headphone dept. Those steelseries look like a good pair of headphones. I kinda cheaped out when I bought my headset, I got a pair of corsair HS-1's on sale for $50, but they broke like 6 months later and they replaced them with a pair of Corsair Vengeance 2000's. But tbh there a pretty good set of headphones especially for me since I don't use them that much.

everything razer audio is garbage

their keyboards are mediocre
their mice are fine, deathadder and abyssus
also their mousepads are good, goliathus control L

that's about it

all gaming labeled audio stuff is garbo

the creative fatal1ty headset is pretty good for the price though.

http://www.amazon.com/Creative-HS-800-Fatal1ty-Gaming-Headset/dp/B002DS4HTM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1355767844&sr=8-1&keywords=fatal1ty+headset

All those 50$+ gaming audio equipment is garbo

get beyerdynamic headphones, some higher level sennheisers, or takstar hi 2050s which sound 2gud. (I own dt 770s and the 2050s, I actually use the 2050s over them, and they were like 50$)

there are no good audio headsets, except one from beyerdynamic but they're very expensive.

Hook up a mic to your desk kid.

unless you have become pro and are going to lans, then you actually need a headset.

also there is no point in comparing keyboards to proness. they don't change your skill.

ofc I wud never use a IBM model M, that slows your typing speeds by an insane amount. Scissor switches for me

I have the logitech G35. it's 7.1 and it's really fantastic. Mic quality is great and it's comfortable. Although it's pricey at $78 on amazon

As others have said, a good pair of headphones will offer beter quality and value.

Try posting on the audio video board, or at least read the headphone FAQ.
