i7 3770k

msi 6950 2gb

8 gig or ram

asrock mobo

64 bit windows 7

Most likely gunna be my gpu. But I don't know what to get. I was really looking at a GTX 690 but its pretty expensive. Is there anything out there around the 500 price range you think would be a worthy upgrade?

Grab a GTX 770 or Radeon 7970. Take note that AMD are to release the 8000 series AMD GPU's soon.

Not sure where you're from, but there are some cracking deals on 670s and 680s here. You can pick up 670 SLI for half the price of a 690.

I'm in Hawaii. I usually do all my shopping on newegg. Do you guys think two 670's or 680's for that matter would be better than one 690? What about the 770's as well? I was really considering getting two 770's.

Go for 2 670's, cheaper now, and will rip up ROME 2.

Yeah the 7990 is insane at the current price. I'd get one if I didn't have a 680.

Nothing atm if you ask me. Wait for the next generation of cards from AMD.
