PEOPLE PLEASE grow up. Listen TC, powercycle your modem and router(if your using one) its easy, to do this unplug the power from the modem and router(if you have one) wait about 1 minute then plug in the power to your modem first, wait another minute then plug in the power to your router (if your using one) then wait another 1 minute then try to get on the internet, if you can get on then try the games.
Also in steams connection preferences, what server do you have chosen (auto is usually best)
and do you have the appropriate downloading/speed connection selected there as well.
If this doesn't help run a free virus scan from a 30-day trial of nod32 you can find this at www.eset.com
If then it still doesn't help you then it is soley your ISP internet connection. (meaning you need to get them out there to fix the problem, CALL THEM, you may just have a slow connection and need to upgrade.)
