[QUOTE="Mograine"]its just that epic. That is true though.....lol Hey, since this is the 4th-5th time.... what's the story in SC1? I remember playing it and finishing every campaign (last levels were PURE PAIN), but I sort of forgotten the story. Why does Raynor feel bad about Kerrigan?Fourth time it's been posted.

MASSIVE ORIGINAL STARCRAFT SPOILER WARNING.GameSpot's screwed up HTML won't work, so don't blame me.
In the "New Gettysburg" mission, Mengsk wants to eliminate the last Dominion forces that were on the planet through the use of the Zerg with the Psi Emitter that, as you should know from the previous chapters of the Terran Campaign, provokes second thoughts to both Kerrigan and Raynor.
The Protoss (Tassadar's fleet) arrive on the scene and try to wipe out the Zerg while defending the human colonies. Mengsk sends Kerrigan to repel the Protoss forces while the Zerg wipe out the Dominion forces and, although still dubious, she accepts the orders.
Raynor then talks to her and expresses his doubts about the motivations of the mission, thinking that Mengsk was becoming too extremist, and tries to convince Kerrigan to pull back and let the Protoss do their work.
Kerrigan pushes him back telling him that while she appreciates his "Knight in shining armor" acting, it's the wrong moment to do it.
After Kerrigan wipes out the first base Tassadar's fleet estabilished, the Zerg outrun Kerrigan's base. She asks for a quick evac, and Mengsk orders the fleet to move away, abandoning her completely to the Zerg forces.
At the beginning of "The Hammer Falls", Raynor then says he feels bad because not only he helped Mengsk to gain his position, but also let Kerrigan go to her death.
Later, Kerrigan enters Raynor's dreams through telepathy while inside the Chrysalis, and after seeing her, he kind of takes that as a scream for help from the little that remains of Kerrigan's humanity.

That red haired ghost in the trailer is Kerrigan, she was abandoned on that planet that was overrun by Zerg, but they didn't kill her, they chose to infest her and make a more advanced hybrid Zerg, Raynor blames himself because he wasn't able to save her.
Well somebody else bothered to make a consistent response :P.
I should really replay the sp campaign before playing SC 2.
man, i thought it was pretty good. The feeling you get from the three races is just so distinct just like the game itself :P. I mean, i can feel the aura of the ragtag terrans, the brutal, nearly infinite zerg swarm and the desperate and mystic protoss. You really get a pretty epic feeling :D
btw, is that a duran sighting at 2:12? i mean, sure he's a little fatter and older, but he was like the only black guy in SC that i can remember. And he has that infested look, but he warps in so its kinda plays into his protoss experiments. or maybe its just a new character.

You/your team are given a rating (similar to WoW arena's rating) based on your performance, not just your win/loss ratio. You are then put in a league with people at similar ratings. If you go on a streak, you are put up against someone with a slightly higher rating, then an even higher rating. If you continue to win you will get promoted up a league. The opposite is true for demotion.

I understand Win/Loss.... but how can an automated system analize your PERFORMANCE per game??

It bases it on your win/loss ration on the specific map compared to the other players among other things.[QUOTE="FelipeInside"][QUOTE="-Feath-"] You/your team are given a rating (similar to WoW arena's rating) based on your performance, not just your win/loss ratio.
