lol = laughing out loud

wtf = what the f***

lmao = laughing my ass off

rofl = rolling on floor laughing

stfu = shut the f*** up

C&C ---> Command & Conquer

SupCom ---> Supreme Commander

DoD ---> Day of Defeat

CS:S ---> Counter Strike: Source

FPS ---> First Person Shooter

RTS ---> Real Time Stratagy

RPG ---> Role Playing Game

MMORPG ---> Massivly Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game

MMO___ ---> MMO can be used for all of the three main types of games...  Such as MMORTS and MMOFPS.

Those are a few that I can think of off of the top of my head.  There are lots of others that are just blatantly obvious, but for some reason they escape me at the moment.
