8Gb ram is over kill. Go with minimum 4Gb even 6Gb is a bit overkill. CPU id go with an Intel i5-750 good performance and wont hurt the pocket as much as an i7 and get Windows 7

Well, I dont know in euros, but I can give you some suggestions from newegg.com :)

RAM 2x

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145260

Mobo

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131482

GPU

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130480

CPU

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115215

CPU Cooler

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835186134

SSD

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820167023

Case

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119160

PSU

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139010&cm_re=Corsair_750w-_-17-139-010-_-Product

Total: US$ 1488 aprox. 1091 Euros. With an extra 300ish bucks (210ish euros) you can add a 2TB HDD and a Blu-Ray drive. Makes me want to build a system like this :S

I know the prices might be different in Europe, but I dont think youll spend more than 1500 euros. If you have an ebay account try looking for mwavevideo store, or techtreasure. They are the ebay stores of Mwave.com, which has also good prices and most of the stuff above available. Plus they ship internationally all the time (thats how I got my pc :) Shipping might cost around 200 dollars btw).

PS: The forums must hate me cuz it wouldnt let me use html code to link anything :(

My friend had 4GB of GSkill DDR3 Ram (he just got another 4GB), I have 4GB of the RAM i linked. We have similar systems and never noticed any significant difference in performance. I dont know the technical details on the diff between G-Skill and Corsair RAM, all I know is that you cant go wrong with either. Corsair is simply my personal choice, Ive been using their products for quite some time now and Ive NEVER had any problems :)

I would suggest you pick either the HD5850 or the HD5870 over the GTX 285..

I have a MSI HD5870, and it is absolutely amazing.

Are you re-using your power supply? Other than that, that build looks really good. I still think SSD's are still overpriced, personally, but if you can afford one, then thumbs-up to you :D
